A Guide to Your Cute Nails
This individual project is an opportunity for me to strengthen my book layout design skills. As a nail technician, I took inspiration from what I have done for my customers and created this mini guidebook. The step-by-step photos and the final two pages with 5 nail sets were originally taken by me.
As an introduction, the first two pages contain helpful information for the reader to get started, therefore, I included both images and descriptions. Balancing the text and imagery was a challenge. To solve this problem, I created a layout with column grids for the reader to follow easily.
To make the book more interesting and challenging for the reader, I painted 4 nail sets and took a photo of each nail.
